Stepping out with the head held high!

Why do you go away to other corners of the world exploring the place or may be the lost parts of yourself? It would be a great pleasure and a sight for the eyes as well as the soul when the world would be a place inviting us out for the blind dates with itself to fall in love more with oneself and with the world, in a more and merrier way, and the more the better it gets, in the anticipation, so that you can come back with tonnes of memories and lots of talks to share comprising of the varied and vivid experiences.

It is all about the experiences and learnings one carries after having a wonderful time at the unknown and the new places with an eagerness within as to what holds and lies in the next moment. It only gets better in the thoughts, and also in the aspiration of living upto the life's excitements and opportunities in greater ways than desired. Planned trips are definitely better as one can plan a host of things well in advance and tick off things from their bucket lists, but the idea of #TheBlindList and #sayyestotheworld only makes it better by adding on the elements of thrill and excitement.

It is said beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder, and therefore a person is loaded with plethora of memories and takeaways from the excursions and trips when one heads out of their comforting beds of their home and environment that one delves in their day to day and routine life.  It is all because of the statutes that one can see the place you came from with new eyes holding varying and vivid amount of experiences adding on to huge number of colours in the form of rainbows making life cheerful and wonderful. Also, the people you meet and greet, the experiences and the new stories that one makes, they all see you differently and help you gain an insight into your own self and into the world, too.

It is rightly said that coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. This goes aptly to bring to fact and crunch the thirst of lots of situational elements and conditions of life, and helps in framing better opinions and ideas about the world that we live in for a limited and a short period of time that we have on this planet.

The world is a beautiful wonderland holding huge amount of beauty in several landforms which are a wonder sight and hold immense power to drive away the worries and take away the concerns and bothering, freeing the person of the stress of daily life. It only gets better, and also added benefits of going out on a blind date, which would not hold the burden of prior planning, and exploring every passing second with the experiences that it holds within it.

We must that traveling is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of the individuals need it sorely on these accounts for it would groom and bring out the better instincts and insights from the person, as it holds strength and truth in the matter of fact that broad, wholesome, charitable views of the human race on this Earth and things cannot be acquired by vegetating oneself in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime, and one needs to be taken out of the shell to get better equipped with the better opportunities in the life.

An Evening To Remember with Mobiistar and Indiblogger!

Learning new things about people that you just met is an incredible experience of lifetime. There are different sets of people we come across our journey. Here, bloggers meet is one such platform where the experiences come in multiple forms such as through activities, ideas, engaging over high tea and informative sessions amongst many. Some people you meet will have books to their credits, established authors, others would be poets, story tellers, and others will want to build roller coasters for a living.

It's always fun when you get to go somewhere new and you get to meet new people coming back home with whole new set of experiences. I love new places, new people, because with them come the new ideas. I love cultural differences, and I'm fascinated by almost each one of them alike. It is always a wonder to connect people of different genres, places, cultures, societies. Blogging is one such stage where the vibrancy is huge.

I love the collaborative process that blogging platform comes along with. Getting to meet new people and really building something with them is such a wonderful way to get to know someone. I am so blessed to be on the Indiblogger platform because it's a fantastic platform for meeting new people, getting our messages out there, and connecting with people and bloggers around the city, country and the world.

And then it happened after a long wait for the Delhites and bloggers, when one fine day the stars in the galaxies aligned and with everything settled and going at its own pace, midst browsing through the mails, I found an email informing us of the IndiBlogger meet in Delhi, and this knew no bounds of joys and smiles that this news brought in. I waited for the registrations to be set on and make it to the list as the seats are limited. With each passing day, there set in more excitement and plans to enjoy, gaining wisdom at the meet and learning through other's experiences by engaging and involving in group activities. There set in overwhelming amount of joys within me.

I personally have come to believe that a person's field of knowledge plays a very pivotal role in defining who that person is in the blogging sphere. With that in mind, there are definitely countless experiences and accomplishments of various bloggers worldwide who offer a lot of great content to learn from their blogs and sites like the one I saw at Mobiistar indiblogger event at Hyatt Regency, Delhi. This was a delight for Delhi and nearby bloggers after a long time. It is said that these experiences are the sum of all experiences that have ever happened to the person and wants to share out them with the world. Experience of the Indiblogger meet!

There were few fellow bloggers at the event who were the first-time attendees to the Indiblogger event. The meet started with inquiring about how many of us were first-time attendees of the Indiblogger meets. Of course, there were lots of hands that went up in the air. The meet started with a little Ice breaking game that the organisers called "30 seconds of fame” and while some regular players of the event already knew about the game or the crew was kind enough to explain about it for the benefit of the first time attendees.

In my life, I continuously meet new people for new opportunities to learn and grow. These people help to form a better me, for I believe learning is an ongoing process. Whenever I meet new people, especially if I get to know them, they tend to leave their mark on me, and keep me thinking on a lot of innovative things for days.

After the fun game, there commenced the launch programme by the Mobiistar. The  CEO of the company, CARL NGO briefed about the details of the new products that were to be launched on the day. It was followed with an interactive discussion about the products with questions being taken from the bloggers and addressing their concern. Attendee bloggers were full of questions and the CEO, CARL NGO did a great job feeding the curious minds.

The things I am exposed to during such events can be anything from what I write, what I chose to read, what I see on a billboard, or even what I smell on the way to the cafeteria. These things help me stimulate my thoughts and reach certain realizations that help in my formation. For example, when I was staring at my garden at home, I saw a petal from a flower fall down to the floor, such a thing didn't mean anything to me then, but just recently like while I am penning down this a plethora of thoughts is running across my veins. I understood that they can mean so much more. Something as beautiful as a flower petal falling only lasts so long. The petal withers and dies. It made me realize that the best things in life are simply fleeting moments that come and go in a blink of an eye. That only means we need to enjoy the falling of  the petal even more, and we can always wait for the next one to fall.

The bloggers then walked in to be met with the aroma of the snacks during the high tea, there were tables and fellow bloggers were eating and I, with my friend, quickly joined the club. As soon as we began eating we were happy that our senses did not fail us, the food was just as delicious and as appetizing as it’s aroma and soon enough we took our seats in the meeting hall where the meet was about to conclude.

Following the product launch and high tea, the host from the Indiblogger crew was back and we were very creatively, by shuffling divided into teams of 10 people and asked to make stories by clicking selfies and videos about the New product which was launched, the best team would win vouchers and gifts for all the members.

Here, at indiblogger meets, I have always loved the great new experiences in the form of team events, individual events, interactive sessions, amongst many such activities. I think everyone has a story to tell here. I have come to believe that we should all be good listeners and must often listen to others. I enjoyed my time at Indiblogger meet. Everyone out there whom I met, were great to me, and I'm very grateful for the opportunities the meet gave me. Having said that, I think it's important to try new things and meet with new people to keep myself fresh.

All in all it was a great experience, I went from a little nervous to excited to making new blogger friends to learning a lot to thoroughly enjoying myself, all in just a matter of few hours. It was a day well spent and we know we wouldn’t have wanted to be anywhere else.

Cheers to the whole Indiblogger crew for this amazing meet. We, all bloggers, definitely look forward to attending more of them.

At departure we got cutest and yummiest cupcakes, with pen drive as the gift.

The What's and Why's of PTE! - Moving Abroad

“Nobody can discover the world for somebody else. Only when we discover it for ourselves does it become common ground and a common bond and we cease to be alone.”

Wendell Berry has so wonderfully put into words the emotions that one holds and it can be related in a lot of ways to those who plan to move abroad and make their decisions about personal and professional life. With these plans to move abroad come in a lot of hurdles that one has to cross in order to be successful in their venture of accomplishing their dreams and decisions.

The bumps on the roads need not to be a distraction from the bigger goal and dream that lays ahead before an individual. One must be prepared and needs to be strong headed in order to wipe off the hurdles that stand in the journey.

One of the major concerns relates to the homesickness that one has in mind while making all the planning. The emotional connection and binding with the family and friends, and leaving them in the homeland and moving to a foreign land is quite a mind game when moving out of the comfort zone and far away from one's own people. It is important to find out solution and alternative to this in the form of meditation, exercises, several clubs, making new friends and many more such activities.

Another fear that crosses the brain cells is that of getting lost in the new city, without having known much about the city previously can grip mind of the unknown and unwarranted fears.
The fear of missing out is another hurdle that often comes up while planning the move abroad. Also, the need of motivation to attend the classes the new ways, the new patterns of teaching, amongst several other things.

The cultural differences, the language barriers, the time zone differences, the feeling of being out, etc often take a toll on the mind while one is making the plan for stepping out into the foreign land.

The WHY's and HOW's of Water Conservation!

To the times that we have come to live in, it is essential to know that fresh and clean water is largely becoming a limited resource. While we know that almost three-fourth of the planet is covered in water, it is salt water that can only be consumed by homo-sapiens and the other inhabitants after undergoing the process of desalination, which is much of an expensive process.
We often see that occurrences such as floods and droughts further limit access to clean and fresh water. This largely comes to the terms that we, as responsible citizens of the planet Earth, need to take steps to reduce water use, conserve it in the best possible manner and save as much water as possible.
There are several reasons across several areas of the world where access to water is limited due to contamination. Thus it becomes imperative for people all over the world, who have access to fresh water can take steps to limit their use of water to avoid waste and conserve in the best ways possible.
The "WHY" of Water Conservation
We, as responsible individuals, should do our best to conserve water for following reasons.

1. The less is the water used or wasted by people, the lesser the water will become polluted and contaminated.
2. As science states in few cases, using excess amounts of water puts strain on the sewage systems, that leads to contamination of groundwater, as untreated, dirty water seeps from the sewage system into the ground.
3. Water conservation often reduces energy use.

4. It also saves on pockets as several families pay to use water in the cities. The less water a household uses, the less they have to pay each period.
Also, the world is a witness as to conserving water now allows large cities to plan for more effective and efficient means to use the water resources in the future. This is because if most of an area's clean water is wasted, there will not be any water left for future generations to use, which would mean that the city would need to come up with new ways to produce clean water for its residents, which will ultimately be at the taxpayers' expense, further adding to the burden.
The "HOW" of Water Conservation
There are several ways in which we can go ahead and make changes in water conservation. Below are some of the ways where we can make positive changes and impact on overall grounds:

1. The wise choices of individuals at home. For instance the use of dishwater only when it is completely loaded with the dishes. Also, taking shorter showers, watering plants when necessary.
2. Using the collected water through #CuttingPaani for watering plants, pet feeds, in the birds' pots/vessels.

3. Replacing old flushes which use water multifold can aid in reducing water conservation by consuming less gallons of water.

4. Spillages and leaks need to be prevented at all cost as a lot of water is wasted through them. It is must to ensure every single drop of water is saved.

5. Creating awareness among school students, society members, and individuals everywhere as every single effort goes rewarded in the steps towards conserving resources of the nature.
Thus, we must know that conserving resources such as water for the future generations is a prime responsibility that we must owe, which is very little of legacy that we can pass on to the future generations. It is must that we begin it at home, as it is well known that the prime acts of service begins at home.
